Notable charm: Hand quilted in excellent condition, a collector’s dream! This Sawtooth Star pattern requires the utmost skill and precision. Made with solid colored feedsack fabrics, the backing still retains some markings from the original feed sacks. The only flaws noted are the tiny pinprick markings left sporadically by the skilled quilter. I did not have the heart to remove these!
We pride ourselves in a multi-step cleaning process to restore these vintage beauties to snuggle worthy condition. It is ready to be enjoyed and with proper care, it will give many more years of enjoyment! Spot clean, when possible, and wash on delicate or by hand in cold water when necessary. Gently wring excess water and lay flat to dry.
Some imperfections such as discolorations, fading, tears, and stains are intrinsic to the character of vintage textiles & offer a historical patina to the original design.
