Notable charm: This beautiful hexagon quilt came to me unfinished. It had been beautifully pieced and hand quilted, but not yet bound. I took it to my friend kelly with Kelly’s Quilting Corner, to have it machine bound on the front and hand finished on the back. What could have been relegated to the cutter pile or left unfinished for another several decades is now expertly finished, cozy clean and cuddle ready!
There is two small areas of fabric breakage & one small stain noted in the photos.
We pride ourselves in a multi-step cleaning process to restore these vintage beauties. It is ready to cuddle and with proper care, this lovely quilt will bring many more years of enjoyment! Spot clean, when possible, and wash on delicate cycle or by hand in cold water when necessary. Gently wring excess water and lay flat to dry.
Some imperfections such as discolorations, fading, tears, and stains are intrinsic to the character of vintage textiles & offer a historical patina to the original design.
