This is a midweight feather basket quilt in one of the sweetest color combinations. There are lots of feet sack prints in the baskets, but the Sashing looks like it may have been a little later… Perhaps 1950s or 60s. It is hand quilted and in lovely shape. There is one spot on the quilt that is barely noticeable…shown here.
We pride ourselves in a multi-step cleaning process to restore these vintage beauties. It is ready to cuddle and with proper care, this lovely quilt will bring many more years of enjoyment! Spot clean, when possible, and wash on delicate cycle or by hand in cold water when necessary. Gently wring excess water and lay flat to dry.
Some imperfections such as discolorations, fading, tears, and stains are intrinsic to the character of vintage textiles & offer a historical patina to the original design.
