This one-of-a-kind item is made of vintage & new materials. It has been lovingly repurposed by the gifted Lottie Dal to bring comfort and style anew. The vest is made from a Grandmother’s Garden quilt that is presumed to be from the 1960’s or newer. Some of the fabrics appear to be cotton blend.
It boasts minor imperfections, staining, and wear, but exhibits the character of a vintage textile. The patterns, colors, stitches, and stains enfold treasured memories of days gone by. They speak of a period of scarcity, when nary a scrap would go to waste.
We take great pride in our restoration process which involves soaking and rinsing multiple times in a mild cleaning solution, gently agitating by hand, sunning in the West Texas heat, and finishing with a final bath in Le Blanc French laundry wash.
With proper care, this heirloom piece will offer many more years of comfort and warmth. Hand wash, gently wring excess moisture, dry flat, and finish in dryer for ten minutes to restore softness.
Returns are gladly accepted within 3 days of delivery.
